Initialization failed for process Start.exe

Got this error when trying to run programs in the sandbox:

SBIE2306 Could not locate user directory: [C0000034/11]
SBIE2304 Initialization failed for process Start.exe

Tried both 3.70 and 3.72 on Windows 7 64 bit, but the problem still persists.

It's not normal to see those messages on a Win 7 computer. In the past, XP computers have sometimes issued those messages if a specific Windows Update was needed.
Is there anything special about your (user) folder at C:\Users\(user): specifically with your (user) logon name?

User folder looks normal besides having sharing turned off and user logon name is only text (no numbers or symbols of any kind).

This has never happened to me before on Windows 7 32 or 64 bit and I have been using Sandboxie for a long time. Not sure what changed this time...

That error with detail 11 means Sandboxie can't open the registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
which is an essential registry key in Windows.
So if your Windows is working, that registry key is probably there and functioning properly.

So one thing to check is if you have any Sandboxie settings that could prevent access to this registry key,
or if you use some other software that might interfere with the access to this registry key.
