When can we expect a final release? Its like half a year now that sandboxie does not work on 1809.

Also given that most licensing options have been removed from the page, I'm wondering how active the development of sandboxie still is?

Are you intending to let is slowly die or is the company still interested in maintaining the product?

I know that windows 10 now will provide an own sandbox solution but this is not comparable with what sandboxie does. Its just a VM for dummy's.
There is still a place for sandboxie in windows 10!

Thanks Bo!

We are planning on releasing soon, but wanted to give users a few days to test it.

Thanks again!

OK here too.

My Sticky Password and Force Program issues remain unchanged, but that is to be expected I suppose..

W10 - 1809 - 64bit, Sandboxie 5.27.03

Just installed Chrome 72 and am receiving this error on Chrome start (sandboxed)

SBIE2101 Object name not found: \BaseNamedObjects\IGFXKMDNotifyBatchBuffersComplete, error OpenEvent (C0000022) access=001F0003 initialized=1
SBIE2101 Object name not found: \BaseNamedObjects\IGFXKMDNotifyBatchBuffersComplete, error OpenEvent (C0000022) access=001F0003 initialized=1
SBIE2101 Object name not found: \BaseNamedObjects\IGFXKMDNotifyBatchBuffersComplete, error OpenEvent (C0000022) access=001F0003 initialized=1

Thank you
I have been seeing this as well. I believe it to be related to Intel graphics, so those without Intel graphics will not see it. It is still a problem, though, and needs to be addressed. A lot of people are using Intel graphics, especially mobile users.
If I run chrome on my nVidia graphics, it works fine without the prompt above. I do not consider this to be a solution - just a workaround. I have an XPS 15 that has dual video chips.

All,

The Chrome issue is related to a Chrome update, not a beta related problem. Please see the dedicated thread to it, and the workaround:

Actually, now I think of it, I have been seeing "object not found errors" but sadly can't provide any additional info/logs. I use Firefox and not Chrome.

Also I get

Annotation 2019-02-14 112640.jpg (14.26 KiB) Viewed 616 times
when first runnning Firefox (forced) ie into unpopulated sandbox, but if I "ok" the dialogue and run Firefox again all is normal.
