Start app in sandbox with affinity and priority [SOLVED]

Post by TobiDS » Mon Oct 15, 2018 1:20 pm

Hi, I want to start an app and assigning the cores it should run on and the priority of the process.

It would be okay if it would automatically apply to all processes started in that sandbox, whatever is doable.

E.g. I want to start test.exe and make sure that this proccess and all started by this .exe have the priority "high" and run only on cores 3 and 4.

I tried the latter by executing a .bat with:

Code: Select all

start "Sandboxed Process P2" /AFFINITY 00001100 "c:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" /wait /box:mysandbox "C:\My\Path\Test.exe"
But the task manager is still showing that the .exe running in sandboxie is running on all cores.

Is there a way to achieve this so I don't have to set it manually each time?
