No recovery [SOLVED]

Post by kydar » Wed Jan 30, 2019 8:04 pm

SB 5.26 (x64), Firefox 65.0 (x64), Win 7 Ultimate (x64). This is a new installation. I'm noticing that SB does not offer recovery of Firefox-downloaded files. Moreover, even if I go to DefaultBox/Quick Recovery, the files aren't even listed. Any steps I can take to troubleshoot?

Update: Just tried downloading Videolan as a test. In Firefox, the file downloaded successfully but no immediate recovery was offered. The file DOES appear in Quick Recovery. Then I tried creating a second Sandbox, ran IE in it, downloaded Videolan, exact same results, did not immediately recover but file IS listed in Quick Recovery. Hope this helps.

Update #2: Oops, I didn't have it configured correctly. Sandbox Settings/Recovery/Immediate Recovery/Enable Immediate Recovery. I did mention that this was a new installation; I guess it has been a while since I had to config Sandboxie from scratch. I would have thought that Immediate Recovery would have been on by default. Next time RTFM. :P
