The Windows version number Windows 10 - 64 bit
Sandboxie version number 5.26
Does the issue occur in a new Sandbox with Default settings? Yes
NAME & Version/build numbers of any applications involved? Adobe After Effect 2018
Are you running antivirus/anti-malware software? Avast and Malwarebytes
What are the exact steps to reproduce the issue?
-Launch After Effect 2018
-Create new project
-Try to import any file
-After Effect crashes after error messages are displayed
I don't have any Adobe logs after the crash
The error occurs randomly and very often
The problem occurs in the same way with Photoshop and Premiere Pro
The crash message seems to be repeated over and over again in sandboxie :

Code: Select all

SBIE2224 Sandboxed program has crashed: AfterFX.exe [DefaultBox]
SBIE2101 ConnectPort (C0000022) access=001F0000 initialized=1
SBIE2101 OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1
SBIE2101 ConnectPort (C0000022) access=001F0000 initialized=1
SBIE2101 OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1
Thank you very much for your answers !

Hi Light1400 ,

So you are stating the problem also occurs for other applications ?
Did the program ever work in the Sandbox?
Does the option work outside the Sandbox?
Can you drag-drop files to it, instead of using the dialog box?
Are the files being imported from a local drive or external? Can you try a different location?

Please provide you Sbie config file:
Configure--> Edit configuration
Copy-paste the contents here
Highlight the contents you just copied and click on the "</>" button to format them.

And, let's review the resource access monitor output:
https://www.sandboxie.com/ResourceAccessMonitor
Open your Sandboxed app and get ready to repro the issue
Start Resource Access monitor
Reproduce the problem right-away
Copy-paste the output here, highlight it and click on the "</>" button to format it in the forums.

As a last suggestion:
I would recommend to completely remove your Security software and re-test (then , please, feel free to reinstall them, this is to rule out any conflicts with your third party software).

Regards,
Barb.-
