Hello asbai,

I cannot repro. Did you delete the contents of your Sandbox and re-tried?

Please provide all of the required information:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19746

Also, please include your configuration file
Configure --> Edit configuration
Copy/paste the contents, highlight them and click on the "</>" button for format them in your response.

Are you using any addons?

Does it crash in a new Sandbox with default settings + drop rights? (Sandbox --> Create new Sandbox --> Give it a name, ensure the copy settings bottom section is set to "none". Then right- click on the new Sandbox and add the drop-rights settings and re-test).

Regards,
Barb.-

Hi Barb

It's working fine if I disable the "Drop Rights...." options. No chrome plugins installed, Also no need to clear the sandbox.

And I've found another post here: viewtopic.php?t=21385

Any update for this issue?

Thanks :-)

Hi asbai. I dont know what you mean when you say no need to clear the sandbox. But you should try, 1. Deleting contents and 2. Create and test using a new sandbox.

But regardless of your result, in some systems, you cant run Chrome sandboxed with Drop rights enabled. In this systems, you have to untick Drop rights. Thats the solution.

I means:
1. I've a sandbox named "A".
2. If I turn off the "Drop rights ..." on A, then everything is ok, chrome works fine in the sandbox "A".
3. Chrome crashed under sandbox "A" if I turn on the "Drop rights ...".
4. Chrome works again if i turn off the "drop rights" options.
5. Chrome crashed again if I turn on the "Drop rights ...".
...

And, I've been created a brand new sandbox B, within the sandbox B, I can repeat the above symptom exactly.

So, I think it's definitely the problem of the "Drop rights..." option, and there are plenty of data in the sandbox A, so I don't want to clear it.

I also found another thread here: viewtopic.php?t=21385 :
UAC disabled && Chrome && Sandboxie dropped rights issue is present since June 2014
So I think it should be a well known long term issue here? Is this fixed now?

Hello asbai,

Did the workarounds from the old threads work at all?
Which ones did you try?

Unless you provide all of the information I requested, I cannot further test this.

Barb.-
