License activation expiration date incorrect

Post by ilya01 » Wed Jul 11, 2018 7:46 am

Win 10 x64.
SBIE v.5.26.
No AV installed.

1. Activate SBIE with time-limited key.
2. SBIE says that key doesn't have an expiration date
3. After license activation it says that key have limited-time. And says expiration date.

Hello ilya01,

I am not sure what are you doing exactly. Step 1 indicates you have activated Sandboxie, but then step 3 states you are activating again? Can you please clarify?
I just tested activating Sbie with a license that will expire soon, and it all worked as expected.

Have you tried these steps? :

If you are experiencing problems with the key itself, then you will need to send an email to support@sandboxie.com
Otherwise, please provide the info requested above (do not post any license or key information in the forums).

Regards,
Barb.-

Hi ilya01 ,

I am going to assume , per your screenshots, that you are referring to the automatic license activation that takes place every 180 days, or when reinstalling Sandboxie.

I will let the devs know so that they can review the wording for that message.

I'll update this thread if/when new info becomes available on our end.

Regards,
Barb.-
