Product activation failed

I had to rebuild my HD and when I tried activating sandboxie it said:

Product Activation Failed
The License Server did not specify reason for failure of activation.

I never had this issue before, how do I fix it?

I am having the exact same issue. I am going to try the offline activation to see if it works.

Same issue here. Long time user. Never failed before.
Haven't tried the offline install yet. Can't get to some of the machines just now.
Wonder what's up?

Wonder where the Sbie devs are?

I cannot re-activate my lifetime using offline on my old XP machine. Only 5 days left :(

I brought a 3-pc lifetime license in 2014,I just use it in 2 computers. But I cannot activate my sandboxie yesterday . it shows: the license server did not specify reason for failure of activation.

My Windows version number: Win 10 Pro 64bit
My Sandboxie version number: beta 5.15.5.0
My antivirus/anti-malware software: AVG Free 2016

Hi, the day 13/oct/2016 i bought sandboxie. I try to activate it using the license, but it gives me an error.

The error is: "Product activation failed: The license server does not specify a reason for the failed activation."

hi i bought home user sandboxie and still haven't received the serial @ daveo_1958@hotmail.com as yet any idea why thanks Dave

it does activate with the offline method,
I'm using insider Windows 10 versions and with each update/re-install in a VM or my computer it happens.

Same problem here and offline activation worked, but I hope they get this sorted as I don't want to activate offline forever.

Product Activation fails without reason from server. I've tried offline activation which works until the next reboot, and then it's back to failing again.
I would really appreciate some help from the developers here. I've used Sandboxie for many years with nothing but praise, and recommend it to everyone I know.
But this problem is something the developers need to fix quickly. It's destroyed the way I use my computer.

Same problem here as well. Had to do a clean Windows installation and got the error message when trying to automatically activate my license. The offline activation procedure worked, but it's not exactly the most convenient thing to do. Hopefully it's just a server error on the developers' end. It would be nice if someone from the company checked in to provide some insight.
