Office Outlook 2010 opens minimized

Post by Page42 » Mon Apr 25, 2016 1:58 pm

Running W7x64, SBIE v5.11.5, MS Outlook 2010.
Problem: Since about v5.10, Outlook email client opens minimized in taskbar when sandboxed, instead of maximized like it used to.
If I disable forced programs, Outlook opens in maximized condition.
My security setup: Sandboxie, and some other stuff.

Make sure you set this in Outlook. SBIE doesn't have any control over the windows being maximized or not.

You say SBIE doesn't have any control over the window being maximized or not, but you did read that "If I disable forced programs, Outlook opens in maximized condition", right?

FWIW, I made sure the maximized condition was selected in the Properties dialog, per your advice.

It's a small (mostly annoying) issue. Maybe I'll figure something out. TY Craig.

Even the Dev has stated to me he knows of nothing that would cause it. I have been unable to recreate your issue in 2010 or with Office 365. If we can re-create the issue, that would help.
Did you try and create a new Sandbox? Without copying the settings?

If SBIE was causing the issue, that would tell you for sure.

Try opening Outlook in the new SB with Force disabled too. What happens?
