Softmaker Office V18 not launching properly fom sandboxed app

Hello,
i have the following issue with Sandyboxie and Softmaker Office V18:

i can launch Softmaker Office without any issues by launching it directly via the apps icon and the contect menu (execute in sandbox).
But when i launch it indirectly by e.g. opening an email attachment from the sandboxed thunderbird i get an error (in english: There was a Problem Sending the Command to the Program)and Softmaker Office launches without toolbars

Accourding to my google research it seems to be an issue with the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)

However when i try to open the same attachment again it launches normally.
Please help me.

Please provide the required information so that we can test this scenario:

Regarding DDE, there is a similar issue that affects MS Office and here are some workarounds that you may be able to apply if you find the correct keys for your program:

Hello Barb,
thank you for your help.

OS: Windows 7 x64
Sandboxie: Version 5.25.4 (64 bit) (registered)
Textmaker (and other applications) from Softmaker Office 2018 rev 931.0518 64 bit
Antivirus: Nortin Security 22.14.0.54

Steps to reproduce issue:
1. open windows explorer in sandbox
2. right click on a microsoft word document -> open in>Textmaker

-> error message pops up and textmaker starts without toolbars.

3. repeat step 2 after closing textmaker -> Textmaker starts normally

i will read the articles you have sent me and will try if it helps.

Hi Joker,

Aside from the above, I want to add that Norton is not supported:
viewtopic.php?p=111707#p111707

So it may or may not help to remove it for testing purposes (but, typically, DDE issues require a workaround as provided in my previous response, or just open the app in the Sandbox, and then try opening the file directly from the app).

Hi Barb,
thank you for the information. I don't think the problem is related to Norton. After disabling Norton the issue is still there. Opening the same documents with MS Office works without any issue.
When i have some time i can test it on a other computer which has no norton installed.
