I have updated Win 8 to Win 8.1 and am using Sbie 4.06 with IE 11.

No issues so far.

Delete after closing browser works for me, as does quick recovery

AaLF if you haven't already rebooted after setting FF back as default then try that.

Otherwise just go to your pc Control Panel and under the 'set your default programs' highlight FF and select 'set this program as default'

(this is on Win 7)

I experience a similar thing using IE10. I have found a workaround I use. When you choose 'open' and IE says it cannot find download directory, I press the 'retry' button. IE10 then runs the security scan and opens the doc (or whatever it was) See here a thread I had about it http://www.sandboxie.co...

It is standard c\users\me\downloads. As far as I am aware it has always opened for me like this in notepad. In .txt file properties it is set to open with notepad. If I do a right-click on a txt file and choose 'save as' I can select 'open' and it launches the viewer just like it does for you. Howev...

In some ways it seems a similar issue to this

http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=14990

But with IE10 as the browser. Pressing the retry button on the IE 10 popup allows the .txt file to appear within the browser.

I have sent you some screenshots of this.

Yes I mean the 'open' button in the IE 10 pop up when I click on a file online. IE 10 asks do I want to open or save. If I select open I get that error. I get the same error with a pdf file. An image file opens within IE10 without any questions to open or save it when I click on it. I have not set u...

I get an error which says ''internet explorer cannot access the...

You are allowed to use it on all computers you own at your home.

Of course business use is different and you would have to contact Tzuk about that.
