Dunebuggy open the OA interface and select programs. Make sure the box at the bottom which says 'hide trusted' is unticked.

Now make sure that all of the following are listed as allowed and coloured green (trusted)

SandboxieDcomLaunch.exe
SandboxieRPCSS.exe
SbieCtrl.exe
SbieDrv.sys
SbieSvc.exe

simmikie, I was wondering the same as you as I also use Opera, and had noticed these 2 sanboxie items not running in the window or taskmaster. So I did this to set my mind clear about it.... In opera I went to a site with online pdf's (bus timetables!) and clicked to view one, not download. This tri...

I only see SbieCtrl.exe and SbieSvc.exe in taskmanager when browsing in Opera sandboxed.

SandboxieDcomLaunch.exe and SandboxieRpcSs.exe are not mentioned there.

If you are running xp you could go here and run the file association fix for MSI files

http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

Strange thing is I just looked in c\windows\ installer (show hidden operating files) and sandboxie is there but not as a msi file.

Sorry to read you still had problems with OA.

When I said make it trusted, I meant just that, allowed is not enough.

You have to right-click on the sandboxie items in the OA programs list and select trust.

Good luck anyway :)

Check to see if you have a very little switch on the side of the usb stick.
If you have, check it hasn't been moved to the write protected mode.

I use Sandboxie version 3.22 (just upgraded from 3.01) along with Online Armor and have no problems at all. Perhaps jon could have made sure that all parts of sandboxie were set to trusted in the OA programs list. There are many who use OA and Sandboxie as a security combination and have no problems...

ClosedFilePath question

Sorry if this is a bit obvious to most of you. After reading some posts I put ClosedFilePath=%Personal% in my configuration and reloaded it. In sandboxed Opera opened another tab, went to the screenshots page I use but when I clicked to upload the picture, it said my documents couldn't be found. I g...

Re: (censored)

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here, but I recently had a problem uninstalling (censored), and was left with the same string in the registry which would not delete no matter what was tried, and believe me, me and some other guys tried everything under the sun. My mistake was uninstalling (censor...

I don't have sandboxie registered so I expect that is why spacetime froze as I already had opera sandboxed but minimised to the taskbar.

By the way at times spacetime can be quite fast, lots of adverts, glad it's sandboxed now!

Am writing this from the spacetime browser. It's a neat little thing isn't it? I haven't managed to get it run it sandboxed yet, just freezes. But it's fun. Will try again later to run it sandboxed. Thanks for passing it on. EDIT... Just worked out why it froze, I had minimised sandboxed opera to th...
