Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)

Question, you brought up a good point about drag and drop. We know this seemed to work before, but it appears, even with the latest fix, it doesn't. Copy/paste works, but if you have any recollection of using that in the past, let us know? We're all trying to question that too. We know it did work,...

Copy/Paste and Cut/Paste from a sandboxed explorer window appear to be fixed on Windows 7, 64-bit. Thanks.

Re: How do I copy files out of a sandbox?

The ability to cut/paste files out of a sandboxed windows explorer has also been blocked Not blocked. That's a ridiculous assumption. It's a known bug. Just drag files out of the sandbox in the meantime. It'll be addressed in the next beta. Thanks for the reply. I sense some frustration/irritation ...

Re: How do I copy files out of a sandbox?

Hi, I've also noticed this since the update from 5.10 to 5.12. The ability to cut/paste files out of a sandboxed windows explorer has also been blocked. Running Windows 7, 64-bit (real system). No third party security programs installed. Would appreciate some feedback from others on this please. Can...

Re: Sandboxie GUI update

I personally don't ever use the "Files and Folders" view. But it's not in the way really, and I'm sure there are people who do find it useful. With regard to the GUI in general, I personally wouldn't want to see any updates or changes. I think it's as simple as it needs to be, and certainly doesn't ...

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE

To clarify, I had no problems installing directly into sandbox. Only issue was running Chrome 64-bit within the sandbox thereafter. A few errors popped up on exiting Chrome at times. Can't remember details now, as I'm happy with 32-bit.

Thanks for the stable release. By the way, when did the installer get to 4Mb size? The combined installer is 8Mb. Version 4 it was only 1Mb?

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE

Thanks! The Devs know that Chrome can be a little picky about installing in a SB. It's picky outside the SB as well, so what you describe isn't out of the ordinary. You mean Chrome 64-bit? Chrome in general can be... All smooth as silk in my Windows XP for years (32-bit OS, 32-bit Chrome). Smooth a...

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE

Thanks. I can also confirm Win XP 32-bit and Win 7 64-bit have no problems directly installing Chrome and Firefox browsers into SBIE. However, while running, Chrome 64-bit pops up with some errors sometimes (not sure if this happens regardless of whether it's installed directly into SBIE or not). Wi...

Re: FIXED*Chrome|Firefox|Etc|SBIE1222 ERROR|After Win Update

I don't think the Chrome installer has ever run inside Sbie. Hi Curt. I never have installed Chrome in my real system. But I have tested Chrome a few times by installing it sandboxed. The installer does run sandboxed and the installation goes thru just fine, at least for me it does. To verify nothi...

Re: DLL injection mechanism is still buggy

Glad to see this topic. As I said a few times before though, I doubt this is universally "fixable" (without a complete redo of Sandboxie's internal mechanisms), based on tzuk's private e-mails to me. I'd be happy to stand corrected though.

Re: VLC - Cursor not hiding with Sandboxie 4.02?

Thanks for the confirmation DR_LaRRY_PEpPeR. Perhaps a Sandboxie dev can take a look at this one day. What's strange is that nick_s can't reproduce the issue, as he's usually very "reliable" with these sorts of things.
