Re: Does not erase history with Cyberfox

I don't see any browsing history saved from sandboxed Cyberfox. If you allow it to save bookmarks out of the sandbox, it also saves that history - unless you tell it not to, in Cyberfox Tools > Options > Privacy. Uncheck "Remember my browsing and download history". Also, just to be sure: check mark ...

Re: Failure of downloaded files to be saved to the sandbox

If you no longer get the Immediate Recovery prompt, and Quick Recovery finds nothing, then the file(s) were not downloaded into a folder that's designated as a Quick Recovery folder. In the browser's Options, make sure that downloads are always directed to a specific folder that's set as a Quick Rec...

Re: A really secure file encryption solution

You might read here about AxCrypt. It only encrypts files though, not folders. It adds itself as a right-click context menu in Windows Explorer. http://www.axantum.com/axcrypt/Downloads.html If you decide to install the program... To keep from seeing any offers to install additional software, due to...

Re: run same program more than once with different Sandbox

Some programs don't allow more than one instance of the program to run. It's easy for a program to check memory, to see if another instance of it is already running - sandboxed or not.

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB

I remembered that I had my desktop PC set as a trusted device for LastPass, so I unchecked that and tried Cyberfox again while not sandboxed, and plugged in my Yubikey when asked for my 2FA authentication. A new tab was opened for 2FA authentication with LP v4, instead of the popup window in LP v3. ...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB

Using Last Pass 4.0.1a in Cyberfox - working fine here with/without sandboxing Cyberfox. I'm using only the "version 4.0.0 Firefox" extension downloaded from: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php Click on "Windows" at the above site , and then right click the "LastPass for Firefox" Download butto...

Re: Using sandboxie with an external drive

If you want sandboxes on multiple drives, you can leave the Container Folder settings as is, keeping a "Sandbox" folder on the default C drive, and then specify a drive and folder for multiple individual sandboxes like this:

Sandboxed? And then Delete Contents undoes it, unless maybe prefs.js is saved out of the sandbox?

Re: Pass parameters to a program executed from Start.exe

D:\PLocal\Sandboxie\Start.exe /box:Unsecure D:\PLocal\FireFox\firefox.exe -P Unsecure -no-remote It may not have anything to do with your question, but the Firefox profile name is supposed to be enclosed in quotes when listed on the command line: D:\PLocal\Sandboxie\Start.exe /box:Unsecure D:\PLoca...

Re: Open an app in multiple boxes with one/few click(s)

You cannot specify that a program will be forced to open in multiple sandboxes. If you try to add the ForceProcess command to the settings of multiple sandboxes, only one of them will work - the first one that is found when Sandboxie parses through its sandbox settings. You might try creating a .cmd...

Re: SBIE 5.06 not working for any program

There seems to be some bits hanging around after uninstalling- theres a sandboxie entry in the startup tab for Win10 task manager. It should have been removed by the Sandboxie uninstaller. I assume that by now you have deleted that registry entry yourself, although if the Sandboxie Program Files fo...

Re: problems with opera portable

I'm not an Opera user, but I remember that it's profile folder has changed names or locations over the years. The file names used in the profile had also changed, and no longer matched what is listed in Sandboxie's Opera template. As I recall, the Opera version that I looked at didn't even use the "...

Re: windows 10 can't open different browser sandboxed

Use Sandboxie Control's menu: Configure > Windows Shell Integration > "Add Shortcut Icons" button to create a Desktop shortcut that will run Chrome sandboxed. When the Sandboxie Start Menu opens, I always recommend that you browse to the chrome.exe program using the "All files and folders" menu, as ...
