Re: Eraser 6 fails to delete

I stayed at Eraser v6.2.0.2967 because the latest Eraser versions require elevation, and I didn't know how to provide that when it's Sandboxie Control that runs the Eraser program. My current setting (with 6.2.0.2967) is: "C:\Program Files\Eraser\Eraser.exe" erase /quiet /methodName=Pseudorandom dat...

Re: quick question

In-between stable releases, the beta releases are only available in the forum - in the "Beta Version X.xx" section, where X.xx is the actual version number. A link to the beta version is always listed in the first post, in that forum section. The current 5.07.6 version: http://forums.sandboxie.com/p...

Re: user\all shortcuts? in sb'd explorer or sb'd startmenu..

Programs that are installed inside of sandboxes, and that place shortcuts on your "Desktop" or "Programs" menu during the install, can also be accessed via Sandboxie's own "Start Menu": Right-click the Sandboxie Control tray icon, or right-click the sandbox name in Sandboxie Control's window. Then l...

Re: Does not erase history with Cyberfox

I did some tests and I glimpse that the problem was not Sandboxie Cyberfox but that never erases the historical. I'm not sure that I understand that statement. You have the problem, but only with sandboxed Cyberfox? How does unsandboxed Cyberfox work for you: does it delete browsing history when it...

Re: License details, how to find out?

Start by clicking on Help > Register Sandboxie, in the Sandboxie Control window.
Any further information that you might need would have to be obtained by emailing:

Does it save bookmarks OK, when sandboxed?

Re: Can't install sandboxie again

If you continue to have a problem, and to exit Sandboxie Control and stop the Sandboxie Service if they are running... (You will probably need administrator rights for this) Open the Run command box (click "Start > Run...") Type in the Run box: cmd and then click OK. In the black command window type...

Re: Does not erase history with Cyberfox

I don't see any browsing history saved from sandboxed Cyberfox. If you allow it to save bookmarks out of the sandbox, it also saves that history - unless you tell it not to, in Cyberfox Tools > Options > Privacy. Uncheck "Remember my browsing and download history". Also, just to be sure: check mark ...

Re: Failure of downloaded files to be saved to the sandbox

If you no longer get the Immediate Recovery prompt, and Quick Recovery finds nothing, then the file(s) were not downloaded into a folder that's designated as a Quick Recovery folder. In the browser's Options, make sure that downloads are always directed to a specific folder that's set as a Quick Rec...

Re: A really secure file encryption solution

You might read here about AxCrypt. It only encrypts files though, not folders. It adds itself as a right-click context menu in Windows Explorer. http://www.axantum.com/axcrypt/Downloads.html If you decide to install the program... To keep from seeing any offers to install additional software, due to...

Re: run same program more than once with different Sandbox

Some programs don't allow more than one instance of the program to run. It's easy for a program to check memory, to see if another instance of it is already running - sandboxed or not.

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB

I remembered that I had my desktop PC set as a trusted device for LastPass, so I unchecked that and tried Cyberfox again while not sandboxed, and plugged in my Yubikey when asked for my 2FA authentication. A new tab was opened for 2FA authentication with LP v4, instead of the popup window in LP v3. ...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB

Using Last Pass 4.0.1a in Cyberfox - working fine here with/without sandboxing Cyberfox. I'm using only the "version 4.0.0 Firefox" extension downloaded from: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php Click on "Windows" at the above site , and then right click the "LastPass for Firefox" Download butto...

Re: Using sandboxie with an external drive

If you want sandboxes on multiple drives, you can leave the Container Folder settings as is, keeping a "Sandbox" folder on the default C drive, and then specify a drive and folder for multiple individual sandboxes like this:
