Why do you think so? Firefox copies the Cache files from the unsandboxed profile folder, into the sandbox folder, when sandboxed Firefox runs. So unless your Sandbox Settings allow a sandboxed Firefox to have Direct File Access to the unsandboxed Cache folder, the Cache folder that is created in the...

No problem. Don't overlook Sandboxie's ability to create a shortcut for running a program sandboxed. It allows you to specify which sandbox you want to use. 1. Create a sandbox to use, if it doesn't already exist 2. Use Configure | Windows Shell Integration | click the "Add Shortcut Icons" button on...

...show me the exact setting you mentioned here for adblockplus ... I'm still using the same setting for adblockplus that I used for Firefox 2, and it still works the same for Fx 3: OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,*\patterns* The above will match patterns.ini, patterns-backup1.ini, etc. - no matter where ...

If it does turn out to be related to drivers, doesn't Sandboxie allow the use of drivers that are already installed on the computer (outside of the sandbox) ? BlockDrivers :?

Maybe adding wmplayer.exe as a LingerProcess, in your Sandbox Settings, will help you by closing wmplayer.exe after it runs (sandboxed).

It appears that this is true. The file is still created/copied in the sandbox. SB 3.26.18

Thanks for the suggestion, but when I tried that, Ctrl+Alt+S only opened the Control icon into the systray, its window did not appear on the desktop. Do you have things set up so that Sandboxie Control does not start with Windows? Configure | Windows Shell Integration | "Start Sandboxie Control whe...

I've never used the ProcessGroup designation myself, but where I have seen it used it also listed:
Start.exe,SandboxieDcomLaunch.exe,SandboxieRpcSs.exe
in the list of programs.

You want an unsandboxed Thunderbird to open a new tab in a sandboxed Firefox.
I don't think that's going to happen, since Sandboxie blocks communications between them.
I can't see how that has worked for you, before.
I use both of those programs, both sandboxed, and copy/paste links between them.

Why not define your own? Find the Sandboxie Control shortcut in your Start Menu, right-click that shortcut and choose Properties.
Then click in the "Shortcut Key" box and type something like: S
(That will give a Ctrl-Alt-S as a shortcut key to open the Sandboxie Control window)
Then OK.
