Well Tzuk, it is obvious that you are not going to get a thank you or an apology here. Know though that everyone else has seen your efforts. Once again, an item brought to your attention and being immediately dealt with.(Which BTW has always been the case). I concur completely. As one of the "every...

Try adding one more exclusion:

Sandboxie Control => Resource Access => IPC Access => Direct Access "Add" for "All Programs"

\RPC Control\MsMp-0-b7a623b0d4f07872d4aef1f34c556f0434f0b7a6

(No quotes - all one line)

Paul_K is correct. You do not need to sandbox the software you use to enable the wireless feature of your router. Based on the description of your setup, the biggest security thread to you would come from malware which may already be present on your kids laptops. Some malware is designed to propagat...

Yes. The syntax is "method Random #passes". I.E. select one of the methods at random & run "n" number of passes.

Be careful ratchet! Paul_K is probably one of those dreaded Cleveland Browns fans! As we found out last weekend, us Steeler fans have to watch our backs with those folks! I have to admit though, it sounds like his take on your question is exactly right. Get everybody using Sandboxie & the bigg...

ratchet - I'm not sure I understand the question. I assume the router is a piece of hardware. What do you mean by run it sandboxed? Make sure your kids run FireFox sandboxed at all times. I feel like I am missing the point as to your concerns. :?

MikeH is absolutely correct. Most programs will install fine. Some programs try to install system drivers which are blocked by Sandboxie by design. However, it never hurts to try. Once you delete the sandbox, everything is back to the way it was. I tried FireFox 3 as well. Works! :)

Sandboxie keeps track and alters the delete call as needed (I think) as wraithdu indicates. For you remaining issue, you may be able to live with the way I have things set up. I have "Immediate Recovery" selected together with "Automatically Delete". That way I am done with whatever is in the box by...

wraithdu is correct. Sandboxie renames the sandbox folder prior to deletion. This is by design. I don't remember the developer's explanation for this, but it is somewhere here in the forum. I vaguely recall that it had to do with a limitation in Windows. So, I don't think you can delete the sandbox ...

@wraithdu - the light comes on! Of course you are right. Tzuk renames the folder then invokes the delete command. On top of that, each session he uses a different arbitrary name, so the folders will just pile up. Ugh!

@wraithdu - no sorry! I was composing my message I didn't see that you had posted. The Heidi forum has a report of problems with the -keepfolder option. The moderator told the individual to try the beta version to see if it resolved the issue. It fails every time for me.

If the __Delete_TestBox_01C828E472798922 folder was left over from the previous failed attempt, the folder is on the same tree level as the new defaultbox folder, so it won't go away if you use the -keepfolder option. Also note, after making the GUI changes, you must close the browser & reopen it fo...

I just added -keepfolder to my string & the delete failed. I have to assume this is a bug in Eraser. As soon as I removed it, Eraser worked. Also, the Recovery Window will not come up if you change the setting which tells it too: Delete => Invocation => Automatically delete contents of sandbox (make...
