Re: Why no programs running in sandboxie, but access denied to delete contents with GMER, PCHunter64, Sandboxie, and Win

All programs were terminated, yet I was told "access denied" when trying to empty the sandbox with sandboxie..... or any third party program that typically allows a user to perform deletions of even the most sensitive system files including the kernel itself. PCHunter64 and Gmer does what windows wo...

Why no programs running in sandboxie, but access denied to delete contents with GMER, PCHunter64, Sandboxie, and Windows

All apps were terminated, yet I am unable to delete the content of sandboxie. FireFox in particular, zero sandbox layer protection set in about:config of course, Never seen that happen before ever that PCHunter or Gmer could not go any lower to the root of what is binding sandboxie folders. What is ...

Sandboxie 5.27.3, 25% CPU With Firefox (Please Fix)

Windows 10 Pro 10.0.17763 Build 17763. 65.0 (64-bit). Its been a year or two since users have reported this same issue. I had the same problem in Windows 7. Firefox has been refining their sandboxing, now at a level of "5", above the previous 2 or 3. I read somewhere this enables built in DEP/ALSR a...

Directories Containing Objects With Weak ACLs [Found/w Attack Surface Analyzer] [SOLVED]

Re: Request: Encrypt folder c:\sandbox

In the age of SSD's wiping drives requires a reset of the entire drive, that means every last byte of data. Conveniently wiping files and free space is no longer possible, unless the folder or drive is already encrypted. Currently, the “ATA Secure Erase” command instructs the drive to flush all stor...

Re: Request: Encrypt folder c:\sandbox

If rotating keys results in performance concerns for large sandboxes, adding an option to wipe the contents of the encrypted folder at will, along side "deleting" would also result in similar results; an option to wipe the free space of the folder would be great as well.

Request: Encrypt folder c:\sandbox [CLOSED]

This would be great for privacy, as anything inside the folder would not leave any trace on the harddrive after deleted, greatly enhancing privacy and security. If the encryption keys are automatically generated & rotated regularly without the need for user password inputs, or by making passwords op...

Re: Sbxie 5.26 64, Chromium 71.0.3551.0 won't load

This is occurring with the latest stable 69.0.3497.100 (576753) • Tuesday, 18 Sep 2018 version as well. It happens without any plugins or extensions enabled in a near empty profile. However extracting the portable version's archive to a new folder results in loading success. I think it has something...
