Re: Sandboxed Thunderbird Links don't open Chrome

Hi phrab, I am not sure what does Click to Run service have to do with this scenario...Are you mentioning it for a specific reason? Or are you trying to open say, "word", via hyperlinks? Sandboxie had stopped Microsoft Office Click-to-Run service --> I am not sure that's possible, what are you seein...

Re: Running Opera on 5.28 always asks for Admin Permission

Hello Aya_Tachibana , The messages are related to Drop Rights being enabled: https://www.sandboxie.com/SBIE2217 https://www.sandboxie.com/SBIE2219 You can try to click "Hide" when they show up, but I am not sure that will work, as these are needed for programs to run. Here's another option that may ...

Re: Running Sandboxed Fixes Bizzare Network Behavior ??

Hello flux911 , You can try using Resource Access monitor to see if Sandboxie is blocking something that may have an impact in behavior: https://www.sandboxie.com/ResourceAccessMonitor Another option, if nothing is found with the above listed, is to download Procmon and compare the results of runnin...

Re: retaining sandboxed items

Hi maude, Anything requiring a service or a driver cannot be installed inside Sandboxie. Moreover, Sandboxie depends on the OS to run, so Windows updates cannot be installed inside of it. You may want to look for a VM solution, or search online to disable Windows Updates at your own discretion. Rega...

Re: Sandboxed Thunderbird Links don't open Chrome

Hello phrab,

What are the repro steps? Is your browser running while you click on the hyperlinks? Or can you please provide the steps so that I can test this?

Also, what are your Windows default browser and email set to? (Not Sandboxie's, but Windows 10 itself).

Regards,
Barb.-
