I don't know what Sandboxie looks for to detect Panda, but if you add the line TemplateReject=PandaCloudAntivirus to Sandboxie.ini under GlobalSettings, it should stop prompting you.

You should also be able to do this through the GUI using Sandboxie Control > Configure > Software Compatibility.

I don't think it makes any difference to Sandboxie whether you use an SSD or HDD. By the way, if you don't have enough room on your SSD, you can move your sandboxes to a different drive.

It 1. freezes temporarily before i can click into the login fields, and 2. even after clicking login/submit it temporarily freezes again before finally logging in and operating fine. Do you have any software that manages passwords or helps you login? Perhaps fingerprint reader or smart card software?

Sorry I can't offer a direct comparison, but to add another data point here, Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 works fine for me on Windows 7 x86 with Sandboxie 3.56.

Is it possible to have a third visual state that would be a "subset" of (1): no program is running under Sandboxie's supervision but the Sandbox is ***not*** empty. Others, including myself, have asked for some kind of indication that the sandbox is "dirty." But to do this in the tray icon might no...

I assume protection is enabled, but is it possible to test this? I think so. Try this: 1. Start Resource Access Monitor. 2. Do some random stuff in the sandbox. 3. Check your Resource Access Monitor log. If you see IPC resource names in mixed case, then Experimental Protection is working and giving...

Hi Ed, to the computer, your webmail account is basically just another web page. So, as you guessed, sandboxing the browser will keep your computer protected. If you happen to open any attachments from the browser, they'll automatically open under the protection of Sandboxie as well.

About the forced drive ( folder ) ... i didnt checked all the file types ... but the first i checked .jpg doesn't sandbox. Hi David, I don't know anything about worms, but as for why files in a forced folder may open unsandboxed, see here: http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=6672 Basical...

Programs inside the sandbox can read files outside the sandbox, unless you use Blocked Access.

One thing you could do is move the sandbox that has Skype installed, to a different location outside the sandbox container folder that exists under C:/. ... You would then proceed to assign Skype as a forced program under another sandbox which has start/run and internet res. into place. I think tha...

For those that want, this should allow a sandboxed Chrome to send/receive links: OpenWinClass=chrome.exe,Chrome_MessageWindow New instances of Chrome will hand off links to an existing instance and then immediately exit. To run multiple instances of Chrome, simply use another sandbox without this se...

One thing I've thought is to recover just the .exe out of the sandbox but force it to run in the sandbox. Right, good thinking - that's basically how I run Skype, for all the reasons you list. See here for more. This way, if skype is compromised, attackers can't use DLL dropping or another flexible...
