Re: Forced Programs to "Run as UAC Administrator"?

Can I please get exact repro steps for your Mail issue? Regards, Barb.- Hi, Barb. Basically, without running as Admin, Sandboxie prompts multiple times for Admin rights (every time you switch tabs between, say, Mail, Facebook, Whatsapp, etc.). And even after providing them, any program in the secon...

Re: File and Folders View - remove empty folders from tree

Bumping this 18 month old request. This is the biggest usability / efficiency problem I have in using SBIE. Would you please consider placing this fix. I think it passes both the logical and common sense "sniff" tests. And you would have my deep gratitude! :D

Thanks again.

Re: Switch view between Programs & Files and Folders

Asking again on this simple and logical fix. Any hope that this can be put on the implementation list, or can I at least get a response as to why not ? Thanks!

I'll contact Mailbird Support and see if we can shed some light on this. MERGED POST 1 - Be aware that It's possible for programs running as UA...

Forced Programs to "Run as UAC Administrator"?

I have a program (Mailbird) that will not run correctly unless I check "Run as UAC Administrator" via the "Run Sandboxed..." menu item. Is there a way to have a Forced Program set to automatically "Run as UAC Administrator" so I don't have to do this manually each time? I can't find an option like t...

Re: File and Folders View - remove empty folders from tree

Love Sandboxie. Love the support. But I'm asking, once again--over one year after my original request--for you to make this simple change that will make a huge difference in my regular usage of Sandboxie. Purge empty folders from the Sandboxie tree in Files & Folders view. It will avoid accidental d...

Re: PhraseExpander - SBIE2203 Error and crash

@Syrinx, Thanks again for responding. Really appreciate the community here on sbie. I guess for now I'll just have to run it with the modification you suggested. I'm not enough of an advanced user to really know what I'm risking in doing so, and if there's any benefit to bothering with running via S...

Re: PhraseExpander - SBIE2203 Error and crash

Syrinx, Thanks so much for being willing to bang out a reply to me when you were lazy/grumpy! I wouldn't know what you're talking about...I NEVER feel those things. ;) Your solution worked, which is great! Thank you. I have a question, though. Is this just the first step of troubleshooting something...

PhraseExpander - SBIE2203 Error and crash

Hello, I'm testing a new piece of software in SBIE. It's called PhraseExpander ( https://www.phraseexpander.com ) I'm getting the following error: SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_00000001 - PhraseExpander.exe [C0000024] After one (or several) of these messages, the p...

Re: Chrome - nacl64.exe, cmd.exe, and bits

Bo, Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out. I've gone ahead and approved those programs and un-checked Drop Rights. I just hate letting stuff run when I don't know what it is or why a program is calling it. It's the same problem with svchost ... makes it really hard to track down what's r...

Chrome - nacl64.exe, cmd.exe, and bits

Hi, I'm running the latest version of Chrome sandboxed with SBIE 5.13.5 64-bit on Windows 10 64-bit. I have Chrome sandboxed and start/run restricted chrome.exe and dllhost.exe. When I start Chrome sandboxed, I'm receiving the following SBIE1308 Start/Run access restrictions: nacl64.exe cmd.exe and ...

Re: File and Folders View - remove empty folders from tree

I'm raising this feature request again. This easily implementable suggestion (refresh the directory tree to remove empty folders) would save me HUGE amounts of time, frustration, and the potential of data loss. I also think it would benefit any user (there is no reason to need to view empty folders)...
