Re: Firefox not saving some visited links

Hi OldGrantonian, try saving bookmarks the easy way.

In Sandbox settings>Applications>Web Browser>Firefox, Tick "Allow direct access to Firefox bookmark and history database"

That should do it. Theres no reason for you to try saving bookmarks in another way. :)

Re: Chrome crashed when I enable the "Drop rights" option

It's working fine if I disable the "Drop Rights..." options. No chrome plugins installed, Also no need to clear the sandbox. Hi asbai. I dont know what you mean when you say no need to clear the sandbox. But you should try, 1. Deleting contents and 2. Create and test using a new sandbox. But regard...

Re: Opening "This PC" in any explorer dialog causes freeze

predprey, I know the loading of sandboxed explorer in my W7 is not as slow as in W10, its inmediate. But either way, in my case, I dont consider the slow loading of sandboxed File explorer in W10 as a problem as I dont experience freezes or delays other than the loading that takes a few seconds. You...

Re: Opening "This PC" in any explorer dialog causes freeze

.... but in other programs they may become unresponsive while loading. Any ideas why this only occurs within a sandbox? The one thing I can think of is perhaps Malwarebytes is interfering with Sandboxie. If you only use one sandbox to run programs then try running programs in another sandbox with d...

Re: Opening "This PC" in any explorer dialog causes freeze

Hi predprey, when I run File explorer sandboxed in my W10, for the drives to show up takes a few seconds but it doesn't freeze at all and I can navigate away right away if I want to. I think its been like that for a while. Is this what you are seeing? Picture 1, when I click to run explorer sandboxe...

Re: "Minimal" mode

thathoobonceagain, check other security programs you are using along Sandboxie. Based on my personal experience using Sandboxie, if you are not using any program that interferes with SBIE, the difference you feel, I feel running programs sandboxed and unsandboxed is close to none. Theres got to be s...

Re: Firefox: The worst scenario

I have direct access to the whole Firefox-profile only. Sandboxie has no security breach. What is the worst thing that can occur when I browse on an internet site which contains Malware like virus, Trojan, and so on? If your installed version of Firefox is clean, you really dont have much to worry ...

Re: How to create a Sandbox with full access to everything.

I would like a sandbox with read rights on everything in the system. The write accesses are to be further restricted/prevented. I think you ll probably like to read this link also. Look at Read only access setting (read access allowed to selected resources but with no write/modification allowed in ...

Re: SBIE2224 with Firefox

coz i just use the default sandbox to run firefox (without any other setting/restriction added, everything by default) how to exclude/ allow dllhost.exe? If you are not using any Start/Run restriction, then dllhost.exe is allowed to run. No need to exclude. If that's the case, try to fix your probl...

Re: SBIE2224 with Firefox

Lopez, I would try running Firefox in a non restricted Start/Run sandbox or allow dllhost.exe to run if the sandbox is Start/Run restricted.

Re: Stop browser in Sandboxie from importing pages from exsiting session

Goochy, if you clicked Apply, the settings should stick. When you go back to that section, where you see "All programs", that is a drop down menu, click it and click where you see firefox.exe. When you click on firefox.exe you ll see the WriteFilePath setting you added. If the setting was added prop...
