Re: KB4034681

Regarding installing Firefox 55 inside the Sandbox: https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=21974&start=75#p129610 north450, I can confirm the workaround posted by Barb worked for me when I installed Firefox 57 in a sandbox for testing a few days ago. Read the last post in that thr...

Re: Allowing BITS service tobe avaliable for a sandbox while dropping Admin rights otherwise

You may also try to "hide" the message instead of closing it, and see if you are still able to use Chrome (just hit "Hide" when the message appears). Hi Barb, remember, I don't use Chrome, but as I understand it the BITS message for some reason is one message that can not be hidden. The user clicks...

Re: Please fix Chrome process cancelations due to QWAVEdrv [SOLVED]

This is now a problem for logging in to ebay as well, on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, and will not work unless qwave bypass is enabled. If you don't want to allow access to Qwave, stop using Chrome. I use Firefox, I don't enable the setting in any sandbox and have never seen any message related to G...

Re: Allowing BITS service tobe avaliable for a sandbox while dropping Admin rights otherwise

Hi claws_Ion, I dont use Chrome but I know that in some computers to avoid getting the BITS messages when running Chrome sandboxed you have to disable Drop rights. There is no way getting around that. This works like that due to how Chrome works. Read here about SandboxieBITS.exe and Chrome. https:/...

Re: Applications not starting anymore

Hi menosay, what you describe sounds exactly like what happens when the AV messes with the sandbox. Sometimes disabling the AV wont help. I recommend you uninstall Site Advisor first, if you still have a problem afterward, then you should uninstall McAfee. Uninstalling this programs might be the onl...

Re: copy and paste not working using firefox browser

Dr Pete, you should do as Barb suggested and create a new sandbox and test. Sometimes thats all you need to do to fix an issue. Copy from sandboxed Firefox and pasting outside the sandbox should be working fine for you. When you create the new sandbox, dont copy settings. Is something not loading on...

Re: how to use regular download folder

Barb, I think shmu26 wants downloads to go straight through to his Forced downloads folders bypassing sandboxing. Shmu26, if thats what you want, you need to allow Direct file access to that folder in Sandbox settings. You also need to make Chrome download to that folder, no asking. I am not familia...

Re: Babylon does not work 100% correct

For the sake of testing, I tried Windows 8.1, and...no difference. The addon did not work in Firefox either (did not even tried Sandboxed as it wouldn't work outside). I was at another forum a few minutes ago, where someone said that Babylon doesn't work with Firefox anymore due to Multiprocess. I ...

Re: can't run chrome in sandboxie with extensions

Sounds strange to happen with a brand new Sandboxie installation. But, if the sandbox contains content, delete it and run Chrome in it again. If that doesn't work, create a new sandbox and leave settings on default. Then test running Chrome in it.

Re: Windows 10 - Font of text in sandboxed explorer (folders etc) appears lower resolution

Hi ssj100, in my W10 64 bits version 1703 laptop, scale at 100%, all looks the same sandboxed and unsandboxed. The opening of sandboxed Explorer feels fast but not as instantaneous as the non sandboxed version. As far as I am concerned, all regarding running Explorer sandboxed is well in this laptop...

Re: Delete Sandbox fails?

I sometimes get a message that "Delete Sandbox DefaultBox: delete command failed". It continues with more information and ends with an indication that the system cannot find the file specified. The last time this happened was after I executed "Terminate All Programs". Sometimes we get that message....

The template has been fixed and will be added to the next beta.
Thats great news for Opera users, Barb. :)

FWIW, I tried the link to the gif you posted and it works fine for me in the sandboxed Opera installation that I am using for testing.
