Re: new icons / interface

but when I look at SB, it should tell me whats running and .......show me what sandboxes are active and whats running in them for example. Hi Special, both of those functions can be done by opening Sandboxie control. You look in there and see whats running and which sandboxes have activity. To open...

Re: new icons / interface

No, the Sandboxie icon and interface are highly useful and functional the way they are and have been for many many years. I hope it never changes. It works great.

Re: Slow loading of the starting page with Firefox 58.0.1

Hi Peter, if it was me, I would switch to the new profile and forget about the old one. Sounds like old one is corrupted. The times I switched to a new profile to avoid bringing old issues into the new profile I bring as little as possible from the old one to the new one. Other than bookmarks, prett...

Re: 5.23 Beta Available (latest version 5.23.4)

I was going to try installing 5.23.4 again in a couple hours with a fresh install, but I guess I ll better wait till you rectify whatever needs to be fixed. In my case, I dont know if I have Secure Boot enabled in the BIOS. If its enabled by default, then its probably enabled as I have never opened ...

Re: 5.23 Beta Available (latest version 5.23.4)

Hi Curt, I installed 5.23.4 in my W10 64 bits 1709 computer and ran into problems immediately after the install was finished. Sandboxie control did not pop up open as usual. The SBIE icon did not appear in task bar and when I opened it via Start menu, it appeared with the exclamation symbol. I right...

Re: After update to FF58 no audio in sandboxed browser

Hi Geordy,, if Barbs suggestion doesnt fix your sound issue, try toggling both preferences below in about:config to false: browser.tabs.remote.autostart browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 I read someone in another forum who used to fix his sound issue by switching security.sandbox.content.level to 2 (B...

Re: 5.23 Beta Available (latest version 5.23.3)

I have Win7 64bit, and like all others are unable to use Sandboxie. I've read just about everything here, and haven't found an answer to this. If I install the 5.23.3 Beta, will my current Sandboxie settings and sandboxes be deleted/erased? Or, will I be able to run everything I already had like if...

I ask before trying. How about KB4056898 for Windows 8.1?
As I understand it, you should be fine in W8.1.

Re: 5.23 Beta Available (latest version 5.23.3)

I can report all is well in my W10 1709 64 bits after getting today's Windows updates.

Now, I have to update my W7 32 bits. Hopefully there wont be an issue after updating Sandboxie to 5.23.3 before updating Windows. I ll come back later and report.

Re: can't delete the files in Sandboxie

I can't delete the files in Sandboxie by push the button"Delete Content". Sandboxie says allways, that there are pogramms still running. Also when I finished all programms, that I had started. And in fact you can see that Mcafee is still running (SaUI.exe / Mcsacoe.exe). It dosn't help to push the ...

My Chrome browser crashes when I have drop rights enabled. But as soon as I disable it, 'drop rights', every thing is OK. Hi Carlito. In some systems, thats what happens with Chrome and Drop rights. Its been like that for years. The only thing you can do is not enable Drop rights in your Chrome san...

Re: NoScript and uBlock [Firefox config]

With NoScript I have no idea. Can't find a file that changes when using NoScript. That has anything to do with NoScript. I tried to google but could only find the old profiles prior to 57. Thank you. Read the thread posted by Barb, but I ll make it easier for you. For NoScript, allow Firefox Direct...
