Re: Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen

Frankie, look at the picture. Thats the Braves game streaming live right now in Firefox in full screen. Theres no #, no yellow border, no Title bar but if you look in Sandboxie control, you can see Firefox is running sandboxed. Do the test yourself.

Re: Chromium Browsers become unsandboxed when streaming full screen

When I go full screen with youtube on Chrome it’s not sandboxed, the [#] next to the window title disappears, either immediately or after a short while. This also happens going full screen streaming any online media e.g. powered by Jwplayer, the web page will be sandboxed but on going full screen a...

Re: KeePass -Drag-n-drop failure with Firefox

If everyone (but me) keeps suggesting to reduce security and/or usability to work around this Sandboxie bug, Sandboxie developers may feel like they don't need to fix this bug. Everyone, please support my bug-fix request. It is clearly in the best interest of all! Consider this. I think what you ar...

Re: KeePass -Drag-n-drop failure with Firefox

I also run Flash Player, Foxit Reader, LibreOffice, VLC Media Player, etc. in the sandbox with Firefox. They all work great together. I just don't want the Black Hats being able to hack the KeePass application and database, which is possible when in the same sandbox. Binky, I think you should consi...

Re: Multiple Sandboxes

WHY do we need to create other sandboxes ? I have worked for 10 years just having the default box and see no reason to have a second or more sandboxes. With multiple sandboxes, how does Sandboxie control them and how does the user know what is going where ? Puzzled ? Isolation/sandboxing works best...

Re: Firefox 54 accessibility warning

I have updated to Firefox 54 since my last post. My about:config looks exactly the same regarding accessibility.lastLoadDate and accessibility.loadedInLaseSession sandboxed/unsandboxed. The first one appears as userset and the second as default. This is the same I saw with Firefox 53.0.3. My about:c...

Re: Firefox 54 accessibility warning

I installed the app compatibility addon from mozilla to track multiptocess. All of my addons are reported as multiprocess enabled. EVERY time I start firefox sandboxed with multiprocess enabled, those accessibility settings are getting changed, and that prompts the pop-up. I think you should test u...

Re: Firefox 54 accessibility warning

Hi Barb. I am not experiencing any problems. I want e10s disabled. I can get it done two ways. 1. By changing browser.tabs.remote.autostart in about:config, or 2. By clicking Enable in the message and restarting the browser (I do this unsandboxed). I like typing with the on screen keyboard, using it...

Re: Firefox 54 accessibility warning

darrellr, I just tested a new Firefox profile, updating it to 54, and about:config now looks similar to your screen. My screens are without disabling Multi process, all default. In the top screen you see the message I get when I start to type something with the screen keyboard.

Re: Firefox 54 accessibility warning

If you are in your about:config unsandboxed and sandboxed, do you see a difference? Personally, I dont see a difference. My sandboxed/unsadboxed about:config looks the same regarding accessibility.lastLoadDate and accessibility.loadedInLaseSession. The first one appears as userset and the second as...

Re: Firefox 54 accessibility warning

I'll have a look at that quota issue (if you have uploaded screenshots in the past, you may need to delete them to be able to re-upload new ones). Hi darrellr, thats what you need to do. Navigate to Control panel>Overview>Manage attachments, deleting a few will allow you to post screens again. I li...

Re: Moving file / folder into sandbox

bassmastergg, if you get yourself a Sandboxie licence, you could force the folder via Forced folders. Any exe in that folder would run sandboxed automatically if executed by mistake.

Or, get in the habit of using a sandboxed Windows explorer for navigating to the folder.

But as I said before: There is nothing that I can do anymore other than waving the white flag.
Hi MicFem . You didn't say that you tried another browser, one similar to Firefox. You shoul try one, maybe that's your fix. Try Palemoon.

Re: Sandboxie and Malware

I installed the .exe file program right into the Sandbox. I did not install it outside and then Sandbox it, so wouldn't the (sandbox settings>Resource access>File access>Read only access) being blank mean no read access. I want the programs in the sandbox to read nothing but whatever it needed to i...
