Re: SBIE2303-2224 Sandboxed program has crashed iexplore.exe- CryptClassErrorHandler

Unfortunately, APMichael's workaround doesn't do the trick here on Win 10 1803, so IE is unusable sandboxed as it continually auto-closes with the error. Strange! I updated some of my systems to Windows 10 1803 and the workaround still works. Maybe the following helps: So, to preface APMichael's wo...

Re: Sandboxie crashing. Error SBIE2303 & SBIE2224

I noticed that issue yesterday also. A sandboxed IE worked the day before yesterday flawless. No new Windows updates were installed. On all my systems I could solve the issue by the following simple steps: Just open IE un sandboxed and browse a website. After that, IE works sandboxed again. (On mult...

Re: Saving passwords in Firefox v60

Ok, now we have a different situation. The templates are only needed, if the profile is outside a sandbox. They will not work with a profile only inside a sandbox. You should disable all options under Application > Web browser > Firefox. Does the sandboxed Firefox run in the same sandbox as the prof...

Re: 5.25 Beta Available (Latest version 5.25.4)

When i try to save a password in Sandboxed Firefox it does not save it. If i move same profile out os sandbox to c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles (along with profiles.ini) it saves passwords for sites. Is this a bug or should i try something else? The template is outdated:...

Re: Firefox 60 causes SBIE2205 Error [PLEASE SEE WORKAROUND]

...The latest supported Firefox sandbox content level is 2. As there are many reports from users stating that anything above 2 will cause different issues (printing, crashing, unable to hear sound / load videos).... JFYI: This is correct if you are using Firefox 59.x or older. With Firefox 60.0 als...

Re: Firefox 60 causes SBIE2205 Error [PLEASE SEE WORKAROUND]

...Since then the max level has gone up to 5, and when I updated to Firefox 60, and started getting an error, I decided to change to one level below max, instead of 2, i.e. to 4 and this level works fine for me... Thanks! Yes, level 4 works without issues (= printing and sound work flawless also).

Re: Install W10 using Sandboxie?

No, you can't install a full operating system into a sandbox. Sandboxie is not a virtual machine! If you want to try out Windows 10 you should use one of the free virtual machines.

Re: 5.24 doesn't work with Vista 64bits pack 2

There's an old update for a limited support of SHA-256: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2763674. But I assume that this won't be enough to use Sandboxie version 5.24. (Last year Microsoft has officially ended support for Windows Vista.)

Re: Firefox Direct Bookmark Access

You can check the Templates.ini file for the variables: [TemplateSettings] ... Tmpl.Firefox=%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\* If you have changed the default path of the Firefox profiles, you can override the variable. Just add to your Sandboxie.ini: Ovr.Tmpl.Firefox=D:\Documents\Firefox\default2...

Re: Tired of Deleting SB and my info still showing...

To find out if your problem is related to Sandboxie you should check the sandbox folder after using "Delete Contents" (like Curt suggested already). - If the folder "C:\Sandbox\YourUserName\" is not empty then something blocks closing Chrome. - But if the folder is empty then your problem is related...
