Re: Move a program from one sandbox to another

It works now, not changed any options, Just wait a few minutes and try again. Is there a period refresh timer to determine which sandbox should an App use?

Move a program from one sandbox to another

I'm moving an app installed within sandbox A to sandbox B. I've copy all program files, registry keys, and AppData (from the current user folder under sandbox A) to the sandbox B. And I'm sure the app not listed in the "Forced Folder" and the "Forced Programs" in the sandbox A. But strangely, the Ap...

Re: Chrome crashed when I enable the "Drop rights" option

Hi Barb

It's working fine if I disable the "Drop Rights...." options. No chrome plugins installed, Also no need to clear the sandbox.

And I've found another post here: viewtopic.php?t=21385

Any update for this issue?

Thanks :-)

Re: Sandbox escape by Specter and Meltdown?

The Spectre & Meltdown Checker: https://www.ashampoo.com/en/usd/pin/1304/security-software/spectre-meltdown-cpu-checker cloud not run in a sandboxie (crashed), is it shown sandboxie can defend these two bugs effectively? :D UPDATE: If I run it out of the sandbox firstly, then it back to work even if...

Re: does "SbieCtrl_HideMessage" support wildcard?

Good to know. While those messages are at times beneficial, they are no means 100%. They can be triggered by anything or any scenario. We don't think that message is correct for what is occurring. Ok, could you add the wildcard support for "SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2205, Font Path" command in next vers...

Re: does "SbieCtrl_HideMessage" support wildcard?

Why are you getting 2205 for every font? Did you open the entire \windows\font folder? If so, why? What's the app you're trying to run that is triggering this message? CorelDraw X8 64bit, the app will enumerate all fonts installed in the system periodcally after you have used some tools related to ...

Then, under User settings, add.

SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2205

If you add that line, you wont see message 2205 again in any sandbox.

Bo
But it blocked not only font service, but also every not implemented service in sandboxie, right?

Re: does "SbieCtrl_HideMessage" support wildcard?

No need to open the hole, just want to hide annoying messsages, does "SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2205, ..." command support wildcard too? If you tried clicking Hide in the message and that didnt work, in Sandboxie config file, under the sandbox where you are getting the message, add: SbieCtrl_HideMessage...

The popup window still give me "SBIE2205 Service not implemented: Font Path C:\Windows\Fonts\xxx.ttf" warning. There are may fonts on my computer, I need add them one by one? 5.10 Win...
