Re: Sandboxie crashing. Error SBIE2303 & SBIE2224

It looks like MS has made some internal changes to the 64 bit version of file \windows\system32\ncryptprov.dll.

Please post the date, time, and version # of this file here, please.

We will have a new beta on Monday that will fix this issue.

Re: Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 crashes (SBIE2101)

Does Adobe write a DMP file (crash dump) into the sandbox somewhere?

Re: iTunes - not a Sandboxie problem

Since iTunes is complaining that the iPod software is not even installed in the sandbox, it probably uses a completely different method for communication. In the host, it is probably getting further along in the iPod code and failing.

Re: Access is denied. (5)

To determine which app is locking files, use one of the methods described here http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/find- ... s-utility/ and search for files opened in "c:\sandbox"

Re: Sandboxie 5.24 won't open Opera 52 webpages in W10 v17122

We are investigating this issue. As a workaround, you may want to try the Opera --no-sandbox cmd line option.

To start the default browser, it is even easier.

Re: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION

Due to the nature of Sandboxie, MS Driver Verifier will not work with SbieDrv.sys.

Re: Firefox 56/57/58 sound/videos/printing not working when sandboxed

With all this Firefox sandbox level upheaval/confusion, I have been wondering about the following: 1) Could using Sandboxie together with a recent Firefox 59 (=FFX sandbox level 4) theoretically make things LESS secure ? In other words, could Sandboxie conflict with the Firefox sandbox, potentially...

Re: Sandboxie leaks pictures - [SOLVED]

I have on multiple Recuva runs encountered photos that I recognize as having been on screen while Sandboxie was running my browser. I tested this specifically by choosing helicopter photos for my search while running Sandboxie(Firefox). During my normal usage of my computer, I have never used the w...

Re: Windows 7 NO SP1 + Sbie5.24 -- C0000428 -- Service startup error level 9153

Very strange to see people using "clean" Win 7 installs. That means you are wide open to a lot of publicly known OS vulnerabilities and exploits.

Re: Service startup error level 9153

There is nothing wrong with your Sbie driver & service. Something is preventing the service from starting. Most likely CrystalAEPUI.exe.

Uninstall CrystalAEPUI.exe to determine if that is the problem. Your PML is not useful because you filtered it to SbieCtrl.exe only.

Re: Slow Performance with WPAD and Internet Explorer 11

I tested your PAC file with our internal test proxy server. I don't see any performance problem at all. It is just as fast in Sbie as in the host. How long is it taking before a page begins to display in Sbie? Is your PAC file stored locally inside your network on an HTTP server? Win 7-64, IE 11. Is...

FYI,
Comodo sandbox does not have such a problem. It seems Comodo sandbox adds a mark for the removed registry data:
Sandboxie does the same thing.
