Re: Cannot run any executables inside sandbox after Windows 10 October Update 1809

ROFL, no sir, build as finalized way before they are released, and MS gives developers many ways to get their (censored) in order before major releases like this, such as AV vendors. It's clear Sandboxie dev's don't start looking into matters like this until it's too late.

Re: Cannot run any executables inside sandbox after Windows 10 October Update 1809

I must say this is really unacceptable, it's not like 1809 hasn't been around for months in fast/slow rings, etc. you should have all this crap worked out and ready for users for when 1809 was out, Oct 2.

A workaround to make installers work again is to add your %TEMP% directory with full access to the sandbox.
Is this safe? Will things leak out by doing this? I don't want to dirty up my registry/OS.

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.

If the workaround is that I need a VM, well I don't have one, I want to avoid installing anything on my host.

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.

v4.1.1 still has the same issue. https://i.imgur.com/nhZpg2h.png It installs and runs fine outside of Sandboxie, I'm on the most up to date .NET Framework and Windows 10. Has this issue even been looked at? Any reason why the installer thinks I'm not running Windows 10 (version 1607) or greater when...

 a Search box would not hurt
That's a QoL feature though, so unfortunately it will never happen.

Re: Sandboxes 666 and above

Well I'll be, that's pretty crazy! The ordering if I had a setup like that would drive me nuts. 9, 10, 100... 109, 11, ugh.

Re: This site keeps logging me out despite my cookies for it being saved.

No that is not it. I have the "remember me" option checked when logging in, but still sometimes I'm being logged out when I come back. As you can see from the control panel I do not log in that much, even though I come here almost daily or every other day to glance at the new posts, but just this pa...

This site keeps logging me out despite my cookies for it being saved.

The question is in the title. So whats the deal here? I have my cookies for sandboxie.com being saved, and using Firefox. I like staying logged in here because I like checking back here every now and then to see what's happen with the software I use, but lately when I come back here I'm greeted with...

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error. [SOLVED]

What the heck, it doesn't work anymore... I was using it all day yesterday in Sandboxie and it worked fine, today I'm getting the same error as the OP.

EDIT: So you probably want to edit out that [SOLVED] tag because it's not yet solved.

Re: 5.25 Beta Available (Latest version 5.25.4)

5.25.4 fixed the firefox bug now without needing to change the default firefox sandbox level, so thanks for that, it has also cured this annoying icon glitch I've been having there the icon of some programs would show blank in the windows taskbar, but now wit this beta they show proper, so great! Is...
