Re: Sanboxed Chrome crashes 0xc000005; ESET HIPS

The problem *IS* eset hips. Once you disable it or just uninstall(which I did) eset, there are zero issues running chrome inside the sandbox. I have no idea if that is even something that can be "fixed" on sandboxie's side, I doubt it but one can always hope.

Re: Sanboxed Chrome crashes 0xc000005; ESET HIPS

Yeah, I ran into this issue myself. The problem is disabling the protocol filtering also disables the "protection"(ie web access) offered by the AV.

Re: Opera 55 downloads -sbie2101 object name not found: , error connectport (C0000022) access=001F0000 initialized=1

I've been having a similar issue but with chrome 69.0.3497.100. It refuses to start "SBIE2101 Object name not found: , error ConnectPort (C0000022) access=001F0001 initialized=1". I've made various new sandboxes, with fresh settings, still the same error. Firefox works fine inside the box, everythin...

Re: Chrome stopped working 5.24

I figured out the problem. Apparently sandboxie had tried to update chrome inside the box, which generally doesn't work and causes issues. So I had run chrome outside the box which caused a profile error and created some silly process that for some reason didn't allow chrome to start inside the sand...

Re: Chrome stopped working 5.24

I've done that and by default it clears after every session since very early sandboxie and never had a problem with it.

Chrome stopped working 5.24 [SOLVED]

I updated to sandboxie 5.24 last night and now chrome refuses to even start? The previous version was 5.23.x and it worked fine and it worked fine in 5.22. I have no idea why it refuses to even start now. It shows up in the sandbox, no windows or anything then just disappears. Chrome Version 65.0.33...

Deleting dead start menu shortcuts?

How does one do this? The programs doesn't exist, they're deleted but for some reasons they still appear in the start menu desktop as white icons. When you click on one of these it says "could not invoke program.lnk" which is no surprise since it doesn't exist. So why is it even showing up? I just h...

Re: nVidia drivers update v372.54 [DirectX]

Same error but with AMD and 7870. Most games I run inside the box works but fraps gives me a D3D dx9 error. Another error from a game "Failed to initialize Direct3D. InitializeEngineGraphics failed" and something about dx9. This started to happen a few weeks or so ago when they updated the video dri...

Fraps not working in the sandbox

I've used fraps for a very long time inside the sandbox with no issues. Until a couple of days ago. Now every single time I run fraps it throws out this error "Fraps error 8 - There was a problem initializing DirectX 9 Please ensure blah blah". Fraps works fine outside the sandbox but not inside. Th...

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.6)

I've been having a big problem with sandboxie(5.07.1 and 5.07.6), every time I open windows explorer inside the sandbox I get this error thrown at me: "The application was unable to start correctly(0xc00000e5). Click OK to close the application.". I know it's windows 10 that is the problem because i...

Re: 5.05 Beta Available (latest version 5.06)

I installed flash 19.0.0.245 and ran firefox with sandboxie 5.05.2(x64). It all started fine but when I closed the browser the computer completely froze. Firefox being the only program running in the sandboxie and considering the earlier bluescreens related to the previous version of sandboxie I can...

Re: FIXED*Chrome|Firefox|Etc|SBIE1222 ERROR|After Win Update

It this really fixed? It has caused some serious issues on my computer. It started a few days ago with the firefox/flash update. It would show that error but often it would actually cause a *bluescreen*! I think one time I got the bluescreen error "BAD_POOL_HEADER", beside that it was just a generic...
